Emotional exhaustion...

I'm struggling to come up with a title for this post. Two events have happened over the past week, and the emotions surrounding these are polar opposites. First, my family threw us an amazing shower last Saturday. Then, on Tuesday, we got the disappointing news that Kazakhstan is temporarily suspending the processing of dossiers from the US. I think the best way to handle this is to write up two posts. The following will address these separately.
